Sub-Sites

One of the most powerful features of your website package is the ability to create unlimited “Sub-Sites.” A Sub-Site is simply another site within your system. This is useful if you have other large departments within your organization that might necessitate a different site. Sub-Sites can have their own domain names if desired, but they must be a part of the same legal entity as the primary site.

To create a Sub-Site, click “Crate Sub-Site” on the left side menu. Name the site and save it.

From this point forward, on your left side menu, you will have a drop-down option to determine which Sub-Site you are managing.

Sub-Sites can have their own templates, their own top menu (or they can share a top menu using the Site Settings > Layout Settings > Primary Menu option), and their own administrators as assigned under Administration > User Accounts.

You can add domain names to Sub-Sites under Administration > Domain Names. Just click the plus icon to the lower right, create a new domain name or subdomain, and specify the Sub-Site as the target for the name.
