Creating an Apple Developer Account
Note: You do not need to do this if you are using the Unbranded version through our Finalweb Mobile App.
To create your Apple Developer account, follow these steps.
- If you don’t already have one, create an Apple ID. Otherwise, log in using your apple credentials.
- Set up two-factor authentication for your Apple ID.
- Obtain your D-U-N-S number.
This is a unique number provided by Dun & Bradstreet. and is used to verify your organization's legal status. You may already have a D-U-N-S number. You can check using the DUNS Number Lookup tool.
If you don’t have a D-U-N-S number, you can obtain a D-U-N-S number here. You may need some documentation to confirm your organization’s identity. As you follow the steps, the platform will tell you what documentation you need to complete the process.
- Enroll in the Apple Developer Program.
(Please note that Apple will need to verify your details. This process may take a few days to complete.)
- Invite Finalweb to your Apple Developer account:
To do this, login to your Apple Developer Account and click on Membership Details at the top. Copy the Team Name and Team ID information. Then log into your Finalweb App Management Console and click the option to publish your app. Paste the information when it is requested.
Log in to App Store Connect. Click "Users and Access," and add a new user. Use the following information:
- First name: Finalweb
- Last name: Submission
- Email: dev@finalweb.com
- Select "Admin" as the role
- Check Access to each of the 5 items under "Additional Resources"
- Under the Business tab of your App Store Connect profile, click the link to “Complete Compliance Requirements” to specify your trader status for distribution in Europe. For most ministries, you should choose that you are NOT a trader, unless you are engaging in some form of commercial activity (product sales, etc).
Once our staff has received your invite, we will work to submit your app as quickly as possible to the Apple App Store. It can take several days (usually about a week) for the process to be approved, and we will update you once your app is ready.
