The File Manager will let you see the files stored within your website structure. Note that this does not include live streaming media files, and it also doesn’t include the HTML/PHP files used to create your site (these are common to all users on our system and cannot be edited). It only shows your website media/document files.
When you clidk on the File Manager, you can use the buttons on the left to query down for specific file types. You can also change the sorting to determine how files are listed, to show Edited Files or only original files, and to display as a list vs. with large icons.
On the right, you can click the checkbox next to a file to select it for duplication or deletion.
If you click on the file itself, you can see the file’s metadata, download the file, copy the direct link to the file, add categories or tags to the file, add related files or series assignments, and alter the metadata on the right side of the page. You can also click “Skip Preview” if you don’t want this file to be previewed when clicked on from a media library (in this case, the file would simply open by itself or download outside of preview mode).
