Tools

The following tools are available to help with management of your site:

    File Manager

The File Manager will let you see the files stored within your website structure. Note that this does not include live streaming media files, and it also doesn’t include the HTML/PHP files used to create your site (these are common to all users on our system and cannot be edited). It only shows your website media/document files. When you clidk on the File Manager, you can use the buttons on the left to query down for specific file types.

    Google Analytics

You can enable Google Analytics to track statistics for how your site is viewed, including demographic information about your users. Google Analytics is a free tool and you can get started by going to the Google Analytics setup instructions and creating an account. Once you have created your account, copy your Google Analytics ID and paste it in the box on this page. It should start tracking within a few hours.

    Search Engines/Sitemaps

Your website automatically generates a coded sitemap that can be used to help search engines find you and index your site correctly. To submit your sitemap to search engines, click the Search Engines/Sitemaps option and choose “Ask Google to crawl your site.” This only needs to be done once, and you do NOT need to install the Google Webmaster Tools for it to function.

    Friendly URLs

A friendly URL provides an alternate way to access one of your pages or blogs. In the first field, enter the URL shortcut you want to add, and in the other fields select the resource you are linking to.
